covid-19 Coronavirus latest
Our Church is open for communal services.
Dear sisters and brothers in Christ,
Please continue to follow the guidance below:
1. We encourage you not to come to the church if you are unwell, are over 70 years of age or clinically vulnerable.
2. Key things to remember are to please socially distance by 2 metres, wash your hands (hand sanitiser has been made available at the church entrance) and wear a face covering.
3. During the lockdown the main entrance will be shut. Please enter and exit the church through the car park door / disabled persons access. All other doors will remain closed.
4. It is mandatory to wear a face covering in the church. Please remember to bring your own face covering.
5. Please maintain social distancing of 2 metres at all times in the church. There are 2 metre markings as you enter the church and also along the main aisle.
6. Please use hand sanitiser before entering the church, which has been made available at the entrance. Also before entering your temperature will be taken and you are required to register your mobile telephone or other contact details
7. To ensure minimal contact with the icons, they have been cordoned off in such a way that you can bow in order to venerate them.
8. Seats have been blocked off to adhere to social distancing but there are a good number of seats available for you for private prayer. Please keep younger children close to you and do not allow them to run off into the church. Please do respect the 2 metre social distancing that we have in place and any advice given by our priest and church staff/wardens.
9. In these times, we respectfully ask you to patient and be kind.
10. Our Clergy and Church Council thank you in advance for your co-operation and consideration and we look forward to welcoming you to our church.
Take care and stay well.
With best wishes,
